Jeremy Scott never fails to bring excitement and a marriage with pop culture in his designs. This season his collection featured brightly-colored babydoll dresses and prints that are reminiscent of nursery rhyme characters.
This Spring New York Fashion Week has been a complete whirlwind, and we’re definitely a little sad that it’s come to a close. But fret not! We’ve scoured the runways for trends that we can’t wait to see this coming spring so you can start your seasonal shopping list early!
Keep it Cropped – Cropped pants and tops have been big for a few seasons now, and they’re not going anywhere! Next year you can look forward to more subtle midriff and ankle action. Menswear – Let’s hear it for the boys this coming spring with menswear-inspired looks.
Washed-Out Pastels – Pretty pastels will get a grungy makeover. Expect to see muted pinks, tans and baby blues on the sidewalks this spring.

Fashion Week is drawing to a close. Thank goodness we have all of these beautiful clothes and accessories to look forward to this coming spring! The looks at Donna Karan New York were eclectic and urban-inspired. An ode to the great city of New York, these looks wouldn’t look out of place on a quirky Manhattanite.
We love rock and roll, and so does Tommy Hilfiger! His collection was brimming with rock show-stopping details like metallic stripes, studs, and leather.
Tory Burch has a relaxed and global vibe this season. Mixing refined style with raw edges makes this a perfect for a bohemian-at-heart who happens to be stuck in a less than free-spirited setting. Plus: tropical toile. Need we say more?At Libertine we got a look at an array of eclectic embellishments that make any outfit party-ready.
Beautiful clothes, stunning models, outrageous sets; what’s not to love about Fashion Week in NYC? Check out some of our favorites from these past few days and let us know which ones YOU love! Desigual is known for being bold and bright, so it’s no surprise that we saw prints on prints on prints with a surplus of tropical florals at their show.
The looks at BCBG were, in one word, heavenly. With beautiful, flowing layers, the models looked like modern-day goddesses.
The looks at Rebecca Minkoff were young, fresh and definitely appealed to the young millennials. But how could they not, when 3D glasses are part of the show?
Charlotte Ronson kept it cute with boxy, tomboyish numbers as well as more simple feminine pieces.
Mara Hoffman’s collection will be the staple of the colorful bohemian this summer, with bold and billowy maxis and surfer-girl swimwear!
When Fashion Week rolls into town, it isn’t only the runways you should be looking to for inspiration. Trade the catwalk for the sidewalk, and check out some of our favorite street style looks so far.
The weather has been on our side for the past few days, but sometimes you just want to rock a sweater and an incredible metallic clutch.
We love the draping of this dress, and the unique pop of color from the necklace.
These models off duty are feeling blue, and we’re feeling it too!
Style stars can always up their game by bringing along an adorable pup.
We saw a surprising amount of sportswear in the past few days. I sports bra here, some trainers there.
Street style photographers are constantly on the hunt for the next big thing, and we’re no exception. Let’s set the scene for you…imagine a group of photographers swarming as if Paris Hilton were entering a room, circa 2008. Wouldn’t you be expecting someone incredible? To our dismay it was simply a man wearing a bedazzled pair of pants. Here at M&J that’s nothing special.
We love seeing what goes down the runway during fashion week. However, it is often the show-goers that are dressed to impress. We observed some of fashion’s finest in their natural playground, New York Fashion Week. We loved seeing what outfits are donned by the men and women behind our fashion magazines.
Eva Chen of Lucky Magazine donning a floral frock
Grace Coddington wearing a black and white number.
Bill Cunningham doing what he does best.
Anna del Russo rocking killer heels.
New York Fashion Week has ended however we can’t stop looking back at all of the amazing collections. One of our favorite designers happened to be Delpozo. Showing in New York for only the second time, this Madrid based label has been making quite a stir in the fashion community. The strong silhouettes in conjunction with the beautiful tailoring allows these pieces to glisten across the catwalk. Here at M&J we can assure you this brand is the one to watch.
