Break out your cropped tops and oversized shades because music festival season is upon us. The looks at Coachella and Governor’s Ball have us wondering what people will be pulling off for Bonnaroo. Tennessee is awfully hot leaving many outfit choices up to the music loving fans. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite looks from past music festivals in order to inspire your inner rock star.
When looking for upcoming trends we are often inspired by our surroundings.Being located in New York City, we find there is always an abundance of style around us. One trend that has been making its way to the east coast post-Coachella is definitely the global influenced/boho trend. The vibrant colors, mixed mediums and over-the-top detail associated with many of these products completely satisfies our creative juices. Supermodels, Celebs, and music lovers rejoiced at Coachella 2013. The California based music festival brought people together to celebrate musicians, comedians and fashion. As we scanned through instagram envious of those soaking up the sun in Cali we admired the many cropped tops, studded shorts and floral headpieces donned by the crowd. Below are some of our favorite looks we can’t wait to recreate.
The arm party may be over, but as we continue obsessing over the bracelets and accessories we’d wear at Coachella, we couldn’t help but make a couple of easy bracelet DIYs with our fabulous leather cords. These cord bracelet DIYs are so easy, they take less than 10 minutes to make and look great layered together. Don’t believe us? Check it out!
Cut the amount of cord that you’d like for each of your your bracelets
Add glue to the end of your cord
Place the glued cord into a metal clasp
Apply pressure securing the cord and clasp together
Repeat the above step for both ends of the cord

We combined two of our favorite things (our neon ribbon and our over sized acrylic chain) to create an amazing headpiece that will get you noticed. Our 4 Ways Music Festivals DIY Feature wouldn’t be complete without an ode to the 70’s.
Cut two small identical pieces of your 3/8” Imported Chromspun Grosgrain in Neon Green
Place your now cut ribbon through the last link of your 1 1/4 inch Large Acrylic Chain.
Double knot your 3/8” Imported Chromspun Grosgrain in Neon Green ribbon leaving an even amount of space on either side.
Repeat these steps for both sides. Once each end of your chain has ribbon on either end, tie both ends together.
Now wear your chain headband with confidence!

Scrap piece of fabric
Place your 4MM HF Octagon Rhinestone Stud in Gold on your 8” Imported Ultra Suede Fringe- Beige
Make sure each of your 4MM HF Octagon Rhinestone Studs are centered on each piece of fringe.
Once the stud is properly placed, cover the fringe with a piece of scrap paper.
Iron the scrap piece of fabric for 15 seconds. This will allow your studs to properly stick.
Once you have added all of your studs onto your fringe you’re ready to attach your fringe to your bag. Starting from the inside, begin sewing the fringe into place.
Now you’re ready to show off your new and improved bag!
