The days are getting shorter, and the nights chillier. Soon we will have to unearth those fall pieces that lay dormant in our closets, and replace them with the crop tops and neons of summer. But not quite yet. There are a few ways to keep wearing your summer favorites past their “wear-by” date.

Keep it layered. Fall is all about layering! Add a jacket to that romper, a scarf to that tank top, and a cardigan to that sundress. Once you’ve added one layer, add another! Take a tip from the Olsen twins and pile it on!

Tights and dresses are a winning combo. Keep your legs warm, while still rocking your sundresses by pairing it with tights!

Bring on the boots. The easiest way to make any look more cold-weather appropriate is to add a pair of boots! Stow those sandals and think of all of the money you’ll be saving on pedicures.

Add interest with heavier materials. Remember that layering tip? When you’re layering, pick fabrics that contrast with the ones you wear in the summer. Add leather jacket to a light cotton dress to instantly transform it into a look that’s darker, edgier and perfect for fall.

  1. I do not even know how I finished up here,
however I assumed this post was great. I don’t recognise who
you might be however definitely you’re going to a famous blogger if you are not already.

    Cheers!

  2. Yesterday, while I was at work, my cousin stole my iphone and tested to see if it can survive a forty foot drop, just so
she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now broken and she has 83
views. I know this is entirely off topic but I had to share it
    with someone!

  3. I love your blog.. very nice colors & theme. Did you design this website yourself
or did you hire someone to do it for you? Plz answer back as I’m looking to construct my own blog and would like to know where u got this from.
