With the season’s heat and humidity, a hair elastic is an absolute summer staple. They are easy to make and incredibly fun to collect. Make your own colorful hair ties with an M&J elastic and a sharp scissor.
Cut a piece of fold over elastic about 9 inches long.
Tie the ends in a simple knot.
Trim the ends at a 45 degree angle. To keep ends from fraying, use fray check or gently fuse with a lighter.
As simple as they are to make, you can make a whole rainbow!
