London
London showed its true colors this season. Yellow was confirmed as a key emerging trend on the London runways, Watermelon pinks replace summer’s perennial coral tones, and floral brights also return to the runways. Mixing bright colors was seen on the runway by designers such as Gucci. Stripe patterns were also seen but with cutouts, draping and soft colorful stripes.

Milan
Milan had an amazing fashion week. Designers combined bright colors by layering in unrelated haphazard mixes. Floral prints were very popular for the spring season in Milan, as well as long flowy floral dresses for the spring breeze. Designers such as Just Cavalli and Marni showed amazing trims embellishments using sequins and palliates. Just as in London fringe is also popular in Milan fashion week.
