4 Ways to Embellish with Statement Pieces for Fashion Week Part Two: Totally Twisted Wrap Bracelet

You may have seen wrap bracelets coiled over the stylish wrists of fashion bloggers, but we guarantee you’ve never seen anything like this! Our Totally Twisted Wrap Bracelet features a silky twist cord and a coordinating rhinestone chain. It’s a little bit nautical, a lot of bit glamorous; and will surely make a statement wherever you go.

Wrap Bracelet Materials

What You’ll Need:

2 Yards of Gold 5/16 in. Rayon Twist Cord #00618

2 1/2 Yards of 3/16 in. Metallic Rhinestone Chain  #16675

Needle

Thread

End Caps with Loop

Lobster Clasp

Jump Ring

Gluing Cord and Rhinestone Chain

1. Take one end of the cord and the rhinestone trim, and glue into the end cap. Let it dry for an hour.

Measuring Wrap Bracelet on Wrist

2. Once dry, wrap the cord around your wrist to measure how long it should be. We wrapped it around 6 times. Cut the cord, but leave extra length for the rhinestone trim.

Sewing Rhinestone Chain into Cord

3. Start to wrap the rhinestone trim around the cord, and sew in place every 1″ or 1 1/2″. Repeat until rhinestone chain reaches the end of the cord.

4. Take the ends, and glue them into the other end cap. Let it dry for an hour.

5. Add the jump ring and lobster clasp to the ends. Let the finished piece dry for 24 hours.Finished Wrap Bracelet
